We are looking for a reliable and experienced handyman to help maintain and improve our property for a few hours each week. This is ongoing, year-round work with a very flexible schedule. We are happy to work with the right person to find days and times that fit their availability.
The work will mainly involve cosmetic upkeep, minor repairs, and light renovation projects. Examples may include painting, carpentry, minor plumbing repairs, installing or replacing fixtures and hardware, and other general property-maintenance tasks.
The projects are small in scope and will not involve major construction or permit-required work. We will provide all materials and supplies needed for each project.
This position may be a good fit for someone who:
* Has experience with carpentry, painting, minor plumbing repairs, and general maintenance
* Has their own tools
* Enjoys working independently
* Takes pride in careful, dependable work
* Is looking for flexible, steady, part-time income throughout the year
We are hiring an individual employee rather than contracting with a business or handyman company. This is an ongoing, part-time W-2 employee position, not an independent-contractor position. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Our property is located within a community that requires workers to complete a background check. We will arrange and pay for the required screening. If you already hold a current license or certification that required a background check, you are welcome to mention it.
