Featuring Old school best in class oil based Bona Woodline polyurethane, because it is the best, or Bona latex. Featuring Norton ceramic abrasives which will cut NOT burn the floor. If you do not see Norton on the abrasives and Bona on the poly, you are not getting the best.
I create seamless hardwood 'extensions' flowing the wood from outside wall to outside wall in both directions. I also specialize in the restoration of 'old school' facenail veneer 2 inch strip oak flooring 'original' in houses over 50.
Cheap abrasives burn the wood and don't dig in to cut out stains, they say you need a new floor. Unwilling or unable to restore the existing wood. Others use inferior latex to cut cost and spread it thin because it dries faster too! Skipping a final sanding results in getting paid faster, but your finish wears out fast. See the last image shows you what happens to most of their work. It wears through, and you have to spend money again on the same problem. Skipping the final sanding leaves the floor rough, high points wear to the wood, moisture gets in, expands the wood, and that lifts the poly right off. Inferior brands of oil get brittle too. That is how your good money ends up buying a bad job from someone under-jobbing. They swear its the same, with a smile on their face, because omitting steps and a rapid dry gets payment in a day, and look how fast they do it for you! That makes them happy but leaves your floor unprotected over time. (BIG FROWN)
Pay attention to how quickly others switch from what they are going to do to how little they are going to charge you, UNDER-JOBBING not UNDER-BIDDING me or anyone else honest.
