I am an old-time banjo player, clawhammer style. I am admittedly stuck in the vast skill level of "intermediate". I'd love to start playing with someone- just one or two other folks... fiddle for sure, guitar perhaps, possibly another banjo -but not looking for a jam group. It would eventually be cool if we could perhaps play a performance, or for a local square or contra dance, but really am mostly looking for the satisfaction of playing together as a unit, improving together, pushing one another... just making good music.
I guess ideally you would be somewhere close to the same skill level at your instrument as I am, give or take.
I am in the Newark, Delaware area. Willing to travel some... 30 minutes? Can host here, too.
