To hardwood crafters and lathers. We have long milled slabs of european copper beech. It is coming to it's fourth summer of drying and was cut down in 2024. Milled in May and August. It is stacked with spacers and level as possible. They are 1 to 2 inches thick and 6 to 8 feet long. Live edge. Most have no squared edges, and a few have one. Widths vary with trunk, can be 10 to 20 inches. Wood markings are very variable and terrific tans browns yellows and a spritz of blues and oranges.
These are great prospects for wood working and for careful crafting by folks who can handle copper beech. You are encouraged to come see these. Some asking prices less, some more with larger sizes, can range $30 to $75 per slab. The price can get much better taking away more slabs.
Reply to this ad and I will give you our phones. This wood is a good fit to store properly or use in projects this year, and we'd like to move these out. We are residential, wood is near street.
We also have large heavy trunk hunks that can offer wood turning pieces for bowls, plates, cups, etc.
