Positive and upbeat chess coaching for adults or kids. We’ll establish goals together and tailor each session to the student. Whether you want to spend an hour breaking down grandmaster puzzles, exploring the history of legends like Morphy or Tal. Or perhaps you simply want to give your child a fun, engaging introduction to chess that doesn’t feel like homework - I’ve got you covered.

I can help fine-tune whatever style of player you’d like to develop, and we’ll learn together at any level (your chess “ELO,” as it’s called).

Meetups: Local libraries and coffee shops (Starbucks, Dunkin, etc.) are ideal, but other public meet-points can be arranged.

Pricing: Flexible based on preparation needed, but the standard rate is $15 per hour (tips optional). Higher-level or specialized material may require additional prep on my end, and we can talk about that transparently.
