This is a spreader made by Scotts, the well known national seed and fertilizer company.
It will throw fertilizer granuals 5-8 feet in front of the operator in a fan like pattern.
It is battery operated and takes AA batteries included.
As pictured, it has many front dial settings for different procucts used from grass seed, rock salt, to fertilizer.
