Pressure washed, oil changed, blades sharpened. The tractor was kept in the shed, so no rust on the tractor itself. The cutting deck was neglected, not cleaned, therefore it rusted badly in the middle.
So price is firm for the current condition. It reflects the low hours and the condition of the deck. I can repair the deck but the price will be $700. On the other hand, it can work as is for couple of seasons and compatible deck can be found on CL for $250-350 later.
The good:
- garage kept, the tractor itself is in very good condition, except for missing piece of plastic hood
- engine starts easy, idles and runs perfectly
- battery holds charge
- tires hold air pressure and have no dry rot
- cutting deck pulleys are in good condition
The bad:
- Cutting deck is rusted in the middle because it wasn't cleaned after cutting. But the rust does not affect operation and it can work for couple of more seasons before it breaks.
- Piece of plastic hood is missing as shown on the picture.
