Looking for a home for this little guy. Bruce is a stray that we've been taking care of outside for a while. He would sleep on our porch and come and go as he pleased, consuming more cat food than both of my indoor cats combined eat. He disappeared for a few weeks and came back recently. Now he doesn't seem to want to leave. He has a tipped ear which he didn't have before, so someone may have taken him in and had him fixed (needs verified with a vet checkup). That could also explain why his desire to roam outside is completely gone. He just stays on our porch and cries until we bring him in. I've been letting him sleep in the basement at night.

He is extremely sweet and affectionate, seems to be friendly with other friendly cats. We've brought him inside while it was raining a few times and partially introduced him to our inside cats (with a see-thru gate separating them). We don't know if he has FELV or FIV so we can't put them together. You will definitely want to schedule a vet checkup to confirm if he's been neutered (if not he needs to be) and have him tested and all that before bringing him in with other cats. He appears youngish, very playful and kitten-like. Confiscated several of my cats' favorite toys...If I had to guess I'd say he's around 2 or 3 years old.

I can refer a low-cost spay/neuter place where you can have him tested, vaccinated, de-wormed, neutered (if he isn't already).
