These are the model# I have:

I can demonstrate with ice and a digital thermometer.
Three are used, 50', and 35' and two are new unused with labels still attached.
I used 3 of them only 1 winter and coiled them back up for storage.
All 5 have all been tested using ice to trigger the thermostat.
