SORRY, NO TEXT-- 2006 Chevrolet Silverado.Auto,5.3L, 3.73 posi, if you live in the rust belt this is RARE find that you don’t have to drive 12 hours to find. ALSO, None of the big 3 American manufacturers is making a shortbed, regular cab 2WD anymore. If you keep this truck this clean & maintained, it doesn’t matter the mileage, it will always be worth good money. Truck has pretty much all options except radio controls in steering wheel. Truck even has traction control and rear window defroster. I LIGHTLY tinted the side windows.
DRIVETRAIN= 5.3 Engine has had Mobil 1 oil since new along with filter. Stills runs and sounds great, plenty of oil pressure. This being a shorty, standard cab and 2WD it is MUCH lighter than most Silverado’s and therefore runs much stronger. Engine is 100% stock. This is the truck the south-westerners look for because even one small turbo puts this truck into the 11’s. Trans shifts very well as it has the cooler package and at 80K I had the whole system flushed & refilled. Rear is a factory 3.73 posi and never any issues. WHOLE A/C was system replaced 3 years ago, so works great.
BODY & PAINT= The Silver birch paint still shines like new when clean, but hides dirt exceptionally well. There are ZERO issues with the paint, even the roof & hood, and ZERO outer body rust or rot, Nothing has ever been repaired either. It WAS used as a real truck before I got It, so there are small chips & SMALL dings and such in it, NO dents other than the top rail of bed which CAN be covered. ( I already bought black plastic rail covers to cover the small top rail dents, and they match the Rhino Lining I just had done), and you are welcome to them) Bottom seam of doors still solid.
INTERIOR= Charcoal cloth no wear or rips anywhere. Upgraded speakers, but I hate this DS radio I had installed. It has some plug that hangs out and I assume that’s for apple play??? I’m not into it.
The ONLY thing this truck MAY need is the rear tires are thin, although still plenty of safe tread. I CAN put on new rear tires, but I assume the next owner will install later model 20’s all around on it anyway. DON’T BOTHER ME WITH LE$$ER OFFERS. OR with your hate mail or opinions on how I want too much for it, just troll someone else. I have 4 other road worthy trucks and 3 projects, and I really don’t drive this one anymore. I still love it, but want to sell BEFORE it gets 200K miles like all the others that are for sale.
