This has been my fishing kayak but I bought a new one so this one has to go.
A concern new kayakers have regards the stability of the boat. I have rolled the boat over in order to practice getting back in and it took an effort to get the boat to flip. On flat water it is possible to stand in the boat. I have used the boat on tidal rivers of the Chesapeake Bay as well as on ponds and have never unintentionally flipped it over.
The hull is not in pristine condition but it is sound and does not leak. Yes, there are numerous scratches on the bottom from dragging the boat across boat ramps and landing on beaches but none of the scratches compromise the integrity of the hull.
The rudder is foot operated and can be lowered and raised from the cockpit. Because the boat tracks quite well I frequently paddled it with the rudder up and maneuvered the boat with the paddle.
The seat is adjustable.
I have installed an anchor trolley system that allows you to move the anchor line anywhere along the boat from bow to stern. You will need to supply your own anchor and anchor line. I found anchoring was useful if the wind picked up and started blowing me off the spot that I was trying to fish.
There is access to the interior of the hull for storage both forward and in the cockpit. A cargo area behind the seat can accommodate a cooler.
