Antique doll from 1940's - $20 (Dover)

Antique doll from the 1940-50's. "Annie" (my name for her, is 17 1/2" and her blue eyes open and close. Unfortunately she no longer says MaMa. There is a circle on her back with Made in England and 45 stamped in the middle. There is also a word printed above which starts PLA---- Cannot make out the rest. The clothes she is wearing is from a later date. There are some rub marks on her due to age.
