Recruiting for a Heavy Duty Mechanic position that will be located in Alberta Canada :
All of these positions could be on different projects but for a minimum of one year, and all have plenty of overtime available.
Employer will pay for travel. They will also arrange for reasonable accommodations. The worker, though, is responsible to pay for said accommodations. Other standard benefits including premiums and overtime. I was told that a worker with overtime and premiums can earn upwards to $100k CDN.
All applicants must have a US passport any applicant who does not have a passport must get an expedited passport (normally takes approximately 1 week)
It involves surface mining and requires candidates with recent mining experience and the bulk of their career with earth moving equipment repair. You should have knowledge in repairing, troubleshooting and fixing very large equipment as mentioned on the list below. You do not need to have worked on all the equipment listed, but many are required.
