the new regulations now say you must have a permit for each animal not native to delaware. This means any snake that is not a garter, hognose, black rat , or a corn ( but a corn is endanger so figure that one out). It also mean your not allowed to breed snakes without a special permit ( which requires a business lic) so no more provening out harmeless snake morphs like pieds, butter albino ball pythons.


AS A result I am no longer actively rescueing snakes for free. I am now forced to charge you for the permit I not required to get per snake. I will also now be forced to see a permit ( looking to the new appications now) before I can adopt a snake out ( which is now also going to be a 25 fee minium)

I am a perfect example of being screwed between the rescued snakes and my own personal snakes I am looking at the possiblilty of spending 500 bucks in permit fees every 3years or so and am now stuch with 4 het snakes ( and a useless plan to creat a comb morph now. For anyone looking to trade services. I can do anything between an evening stop in or a few weeks of care as long as you are willing to do the same. I would not be able to stay overnight though and wouldn't expect anyone to do so for me. If I went away for a long period of time, it might be likely that I would take my dogs to my parents since they require a bit more stimulus than the rest of my animals. I am looking for people very close to my area, maybe not more than 20 min away.

I don't currently need anyone to look after my animals. I am just planning ahead for some trips this summer or fall and maybe some weekends throughout the year.

I have two 2yr old males Cinnamon color and an 10 month old black and silver female ferret looking for a FOREVER home.. They are all Marshal Ferrets and are tattooed..

They all have laid back tempers very mild, are all neurtered, descented and litter trained.. i was told by the last owner they all had shots but i cannot provide any paperwork so they will need to see a vet for a checkup.. I want to keep them together and WILL NOT seperate them!! No its not that I cant take care of them because I can or they wouldnt have everything included with them..

They will come with an extra large custom cage (will need a pick-up truck), food, water bottle, litter, litter pans, ear wash, hammocks, tunnels and toys. everything to take care of them. If interested please inquire. There is a $125 rehoming fee to insure that they go to a wonderful home. If you need a carrier i will sell one for an additional $25 originally $40 if you go purchase seperately..

As you can go to any pet store and clearly see that they are $159.99+ for one so you get 3 for the price of one and a cage + supplies to take care of them.. To save you time and possibly money on vet bills, I thought I would let people know: I began feeding this brand to my dogs and after a couple weeks, I noticed a bunch of small, hard bumps on the back of one of my dogs necks and a few sporadically on other parts of her torso. She was scratching like crazy!! After much time spent on the internet trying to find a cause, I came across the symptoms of FOOD ALLERGY in dogs.

I stopped the dry food and treats completely and within a week, the bumps subsided. Now, two weeks later, the bumps are gone and so is the itching.

So if you fit the criteria for this or any other "new" food that you've fed your dog, try going back to your dog's regular food before you spend alot of $$$ on vet bills.

Benji is a 4 yo male found as a stray on 12/18/09. He was emaciated and dehydrated. He weights 42lbs.

Poor Benji was all skin and bones and soooooooo hungry. He gained quite a few pounds as he is being fed so intensively at a point that he is becoming finicky. Benji is very good on the leash and housebroken. He seems fine with dogs met on the street, small or big ones. He is sweet and friendly and quite well behaved. Ten additional pounds will transform him into a stunning dog.

When their phone number (856-469-7905) is Googled, a ton of Classified ads come up for puppies of the same breeds for SALE, not adoption. This person claims to "rescue" puppies from puppy mills that have "gotten too big" to be sold, yet nearly all of the dogs are 12 weeks of age or under. I happened to be online and in the Craigslist Pet Forum early this afternoon when the person who runs this outfit was online and she stated several different "explanations" . First she stated they were all puppy mill rescues. Then she said that she breeds bulldogs and bull terriers for show. THEN she said that she gets the puppies from local private breeders to "help them find homes" (this would be called a puppy broker). Quite honestly, I do not believe for one second she is rescuing puppies this young on a regular basis from puppy mills. These dogs would easily sell. Whether she is actually breeding them or acting as a puppy broker, I do not know, but I find it incredibly disturbing that she is claiming to be a RESCUE, and in the same breath telling people to stay AWAY from shelters and other rescues.

I do not know what, if any, laws are being broken, but I would think there must be something wrong with selling these puppies under the pretense of rescue. If anyone has any legal expertise and can check into what, if any, laws are being broken, that would be great. I also think it would be fantastic if anyone had contacts within Animal Control in her area (south New Jersey). I would be very curious to see what conditions these dogs are being kept in, and if she is over the legal limit.
