The incumbent is responsible for clerical and administrative tasks as needed for the Community Awareness/Public Relations Director.  Assignments require evaluative thinking, proactive attitude, resource management and high levels of confidentiality. In addition to the standard clerical duties, incumbents relieve manager of routine administrative and business details by performing a variety of duties including but not limited to coordinating and arranging for conferences, meetings, travel and similar activities; composing correspondence on well defined matters; maintaining schedule of appointments’ screening visitors and telephone calls; establishing and maintaining various filing and record-keeping systems for the department including follow-up files; compile reports or complete documents; ordering and maintaining office supplies, equipment and inventory.  .<br>

The ideal candidate has (1) Bachelors degree in communications or related field, (2) possesses  2-3 years clerical and administrative work experience, (3) is computer literate with experience in MS Word, Excel, Access and the Internet and (4) has excellent communication skills both oral and written in English and Spanish<br>

Minimum Qualifications include Associates Degree and 2-3 Years of clerical and administrative experience. Computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Full bilingual Skills in English/Spanish.<br>
