Responsibilities:
The Shared Area Technician duties cover a wide variety of tasks, actions and behaviors such as:
· Deflashing parts using a cryogenic machine, this would include the prep of an O-ring for the next phase of the process.
· Roll Flow parts using a tumbler with additives to achieve a uniform finish to achieve customer specifications. This task requires lifting, loading and unloading of parts.
· Mold Cleaning Using a blast cabinet to clean remaining residue from tooling. This task requires lifting, loading, unloading, pushing and pulling of materials with the assistance of various devices as to not create any injuries to self or damage equipment.
· Perform daily housekeeping checklist of work area assigned too.
· Perform daily checks to ensure accuracy and conformance to schedule is adhered too.
· Interfaces with Technology, Production management, Quality personnel, Contract Administration personnel, and other contract technicians.
· All other assigned duties.
· This task requires physical ability to be able to push, lift or pull as much as 45 pounds.
Required Skills:
· I.T. Skills: must be proficient or willing to learn and be technically accurate in MS Office applications, Lotus Notes, other site business systems and be willing to learn apply and implement new software.
· Teamwork Skills: must have demonstrated ability to work well within a collaborative team
· Organization/Time Management Skills: must be a reliant self-starter and able to work without direct supervision on a variety of tasks.
Position requires extended periods of standing and exposure to the elements. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required. Previous experience is preferred but not necessary.

- Shrink wrap orders and load orders onto trucks.

Daily Operations:
This position is responsible for tracking and coordinating movement, acquisition, and disposition of supplies, materials and equipment to prevent overstocking and to meet short-term needs. This position also performs specialized handling activities such as assembling, inspecting, displaying, demonstrating, and preparing equipment/materials/parts for proper operation, use, or issue.
Other duties include:
Testing, or performing quality checks on supplies, materials, and equipment, and/or ensuring appropriate safety precautions are used in handling/disposing of materials; conducting various detailed inventories to comply with stock rotation schedules, periodic inventory audits, and to identify inventory turnover rate; acquisitions/purchases required inventory. This position maintains recordkeeping systems, compares inventory records with sales orders, invoices, and requisitions to verify accuracy and receipt, and investigates discrepancies. This position also requires the operation of a variety of equipment such as, medium size trucks, forklifts, pallet- jacks, hand trucks and dollies to transport or distribute supplies, equipment, materials, or other articles.
This is an extremely physical job, so you must not only be able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis, but also have good stamina! Slow people, need not apply! We only want the best!
