Job Description
Our client is a global provider of Internet infrastructure services. They provide secure, diverse services to insure up-time and stability for all the domains they manage. Their DNS operates on a globally distributed, multiple-layered diverse infrastructure using state of the art technology and security to protect their clients from malicious attacks.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will join the operations team and be directly involved in the implementation and operation of our clients global content delivery platform as well as the management of DNS for their portfolio of Top Level Domains and CCTLDs.
Specific responsibilities include:
Perform protocol-level troubleshooting and diagnosis of DNS problems
Monitor, measure and mitigate DOS attacks and other rogue traffic
Provide operational support for the measurement and classification of production service traffic
Participate in ongoing design to improve the capability and quality of the content delivery platform
Act as an expert resource in the fields of Internet security, inter-domain routing, network and systems administration, any cast service delivery and DNS for other groups within the company
Act as the network and system administrator for the companys content delivery platform, perform hardware maintenance, installations at new locations, create and maintain technical documentation
Act as an escalation resource for the companys NOC for issues relating to the production content-delivery platform.
Participate in network operations conferences and other industry-related forums.

SOFTWARE TESTER JOB DESCRIPTION:
Scope
Design, implement and execute test plans for various components of our clients system software. This will include stress-testing the system, and testing for reliability, faults and boundary conditions as well as basic functionality. Identify and log issues along with reproduction methods to enable software developers to resolve. Validate resolved problems and new system capabilities. There are two (2) Software Tester positions available.
Qualifications
1-3 years experience with white and/or gray box testing. Additional experience in other areas of software testing is considered a plus.
Proven experience understanding product requirements and functionality, in order to design appropriate test plans and test cases to verify features and functionalities
Desire to improve both the product and the development process
Proven experience reading, understanding and analyzing other developers' code (primarily C/C++)
Ability to identify bugs through systematic testing
Proven experience with scripting languages (Perl, Bash, Ksh, etc.) and other automation tools
BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering
C/C++ and Linux/Unix experience
Computer architecture oriented
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
